Do you know you can withdraw your paypal funds to your bank account as a Nigerian? If you don't know, you are missing out a great deal. But don't worry I'll guide you through the whole process on how you can also do the same

.

Withdrawing PayPal funds in Nigeria is now a big deal that makes most Nigerians tired of receiving money online or working online. But here's the good news, you can now transfer your money from your Paypal to your bank account without any much stress.

The platform we are going to use in withdrawing our PayPal funds is flutterwave.

Flutterwave
Flutterwave is a website created as a wallet to receive funds through the payment links created by their users.

Flutterwave was created for Africans to receive both local and international payments. You don't even have to send your account number anymore, once your payment link is sent, anyone can pay with their credit card or any other form of payment they choose to pay you.

Signing up
Signing up for flutterwave account is free but what you need to do is that you have to open a merchant account with them because only merchant accounts are allowed to receive payments from PayPal. If you open a freelancer account I'm sorry PayPal payments can't be allowed.

Receiving payments through PayPal
Once you have signed up and verified your account via your email and your flutterwave merchant account is now in good order, what you need to do are;
1. Create a payment link
2. Enable PayPal
3. Test it

1. Create a payment link
From the left corner of your flutterwave merchant account dashboard, go down a little bit to check where you see something that looks like the drawing of a money.

Click that drawing to create a payment link so as to use it to receive PayPal payments. Once you are redirected on the next page, create the payment link by naming the link and most importantly, I want you to create the payment link with USD as the set currency.

You don't need to put a permanent figure or amount because this payment link will likely be used by only you so that you can have the freedom to choose whatsoever amount you yourself want to withdraw from your PayPal account to your flutterwave account.

2. Enable PayPal payments
To enable Paypal payment you will have to go to the settings. At the left corner of your flutterwave method account dashboard go to settings which is at the bottom of that same left corner of your dashboard.

Once you have been taken to the settings page, click account settings which you will see at the top in the settings page then when you are taken to the account settings page, click enable PayPal and any other form of payments you wish to receive money from.

3. Test it
Once you have created your payment link and enabled Paypal payments, copy the payment link you created which the United States currency because PayPal works with the United States currency.

Then paste this link to your browser. When you are now on the page, pay at least $2. Wallet can be at times funny so I urge you to pay $2 for testing your payment link

When you are about to pay you'll see different options that can be used to pay, choose PayPal and you will be redirected to sign in to your PayPal account so you can pay.

once you have received  your PayPal money, you can now withdraw your money to your bank account as long as you have linked your bank account to your flutterwave merchant account.
