How to get  you blog/site on Opera news feed

There are two options you can try out to connect your blog/site on Opera news feed.



Option 1

Send a summarised and straight to the point email to Opera support email- social-networks@opera.com copying press-team@opera.com


Here are the key things you must mention in the email

1. Introduce yourself briefly as the site owner.

2. Introduce your site or blog including your domain (URL), assure them of the authenticity, originality of your site's content.

3. State the reason for contacting them which is to link your site to their news feed.

4. Promise them your site would adhere strictly to all opera's policies.

5. Conclude the letter officially.


Click the submit button to send them the email and wait for their feedback which before now, used to take between 48 hours to 72 hours.


But due to the lockdown, as a result of covid-19, their feedback time has been extended to between 1 week to 2 weeks.


Eventually, when they get back to you, they would review your website/blog to make further inquiries from you if need be and revert to you after 48 hours with your site approval and from there, you are good to go.




Option 2

1. Visit the Opera website at www.opera.com

2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click contact under company.

3. Then click support form under customer support and write a similar kind of email described in option 1.

With these steps properly followed, Opera would revert to you in a maximum of 2 weeks time.
